Adding a Name to Your Gujarat Ration Card
You need to add a name to your existing Gujarat ration card when a new family member joins the household, this includes a newborn child, a spouse after marriage, or any other person becoming a permanent member of your household. The service is available online at digitalgujarat.gov.in and offline at your nearest Taluka Mamlatdar / Jan Seva Kendra (JSK) office.

Official birth certificate from Municipal Corporation / Gram Panchayat

Residence proof showing the new member lives at the same address

How to Apply Online
Log in to Digital Gujarat Portal
Go to digitalgujarat.gov.in → Citizen Login → log in with your credentials.
Citizen Services → Addition of Name in Ration Card
Click the Service tab → Citizen Services → select Addition of Name in Ration Card from the Ration Card section.
Fill form, upload documents & submit
Fill all required details carefully. Upload required documents. Click Submit. Note the application reference number and track status via your dashboard.
