The entire process is online and free. Follow these 8 steps to complete your application successfully.
Review the full list of schemes above. Select the one that matches your category (SC/ST/OBC etc.), education level (Std 1–PhD), and income. Applying for the wrong scheme is the most common mistake.
Confirm you meet all eligibility criteria: Gujarat domicile, valid caste/category certificate, family income within the limit, minimum marks in previous exam, and enrollment in a recognised institution.
Visit the official portal at digitalgujarat.gov.in. Click "New Registration" on the homepage. Enter your current mobile number, email ID, and create a secure password.
After logging in, click "My Profile" and fill in all mandatory fields: personal details, Aadhaar number, address, and bank account details. Upload your passport-size photo (under 200 KB). Verify your mobile with the OTP received.
Go to Services → Scholarship Services. Select your desired scheme from the dropdown. Choose the current financial year (2025–26). Click "Change Financial Year" if needed.
Enter all required information: personal details, academic details (course, institution, enrollment number), bank account information, and family income details. Double-check every field before proceeding.
Upload all supporting documents in PDF or JPG format, each under 200 KB. Required: Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Previous Marksheet, Fee Receipt, Bank Passbook, Passport Photo, and Hostel Certificate (if applicable).
Click "Save as Draft" to review everything. Check the checkbox "I agree with the terms and conditions". Click "Submit". Save your application reference number and take a printout of the confirmation page.
After submitting your form, log in to digitalgujarat.gov.in and go to Scholarship Services to see your status.
Your application has been submitted and is being reviewed by your institution or district committee. No action needed — wait for verification.
Your scholarship is approved. The amount will be transferred to your Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT. Check PFMS at pfms.nic.in.
The scholarship amount has been disbursed to your bank account. If not received in 5–7 days, contact your bank to check Aadhaar linkage.
Your application was rejected, usually due to incomplete documents, income over the limit, or incorrect details. Check the rejection reason and reapply if the portal allows.
Keep these documents ready before you start your application. All files must be clear, valid, and under 200 KB.
