Post-Matric Scholarship | SC (Scheduled Caste) Students
SC students have the most generous post-matric scholarships in Gujarat, including the flagship Dr. Ambedkar scholarship covering up to ₹2 lakh per year for UG/PG students.
Eligibility Criteria
- ✓Belongs to Scheduled Caste (valid SC certificate required)
- ✓Permanent resident of Gujarat (domicile certificate)
- ✓Annual family income ≤ ₹2,50,000
- ✓Studying Class 11 to PhD at a recognised institution
- ✓Minimum 50% marks in previous exam
- ✓75% attendance in current institution

ST students are covered by the Tribal Development Department schemes. Research scholarships provide monthly stipends of ₹5,000–₹25,000 for PhD students.

How to Apply for Post-Matric Scholarship

Check your category's eligibility
Confirm your caste/category certificate is valid, your income is within the limit, and you are enrolled in a full-time course at a recognised Gujarat institution.

Register or log in at digitalgujarat.gov.in
New users: click New Registration. Existing users: log in with mobile/email and password. Complete your profile if not done already.

Select your scheme under Scholarship Services
Go to Services → Scholarship Services. Choose your specific scheme (e.g., "Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students"). Select financial year 2025–26.

Fill the form and upload documents
Enter personal, academic, and bank details. Upload all required documents (PDF/JPG, each under 200 KB). Save as Draft and review carefully.

Accept terms and click Submit. Save your application reference number. Track status at digitalgujarat.gov.in → Scholarship Services.
