What is e-Payment on the Digital Gujarat Portal?
The e-Payment feature on the Digital Gujarat Portal (www.digitalgujarat.gov.in) is the integrated online payment system for paying government service fees. When you apply for a certificate (income, caste, domicile etc.) or any chargeable service via the portal, payment is triggered as part of the application workflow and processed through a secure online payment gateway managed by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, hosted by NIC.
You can also access e-Payment as a quick link on your Digital Gujarat dashboard after login, alongside Digital Locker, Certificate Verification, and Download Issued Documents. This link primarily leads to payment history and receipt downloads; new payments are initiated through service applications.

Save Transaction ID Critical
After payment, the portal shows a unique Transaction ID. Screenshot it immediately. An SMS confirmation also goes to your registered mobile. The Transaction ID is needed for tracking, receipts, and any refund queries.
