Go to www.digitalgujarat.gov.in in Chrome. Click New Registration on the homepage.

2

Enter mobile number and verify OTP

Enter your active mobile number. An OTP will be sent. Enter it to verify your identity.

3

Create a password

Create a strong password (8+ characters with letters, numbers and a special character). Confirm it and click Register.

Already registered? Skip to Step 3 β€” Complete Profile.

Step 3 β€” Complete Your Profile

1

Log in and open My Profile

After logging in, click My Profile. Fill in all fields: personal details, Aadhaar number, address, category (SC/ST/OBC/SEBC etc.), and family income details.

2

Link Aadhaar and bank account

Enter your Aadhaar number. Ensure your bank account is Aadhaar-seeded (this is how scholarship money is paid via DBT). Upload your bank passbook first page.

Important: Do not skip any mandatory field in My Profile. Incomplete profiles cause application rejections. All your details must match exactly with your Aadhaar card.

Step 4 β€” Select Your Scheme

1

Go to Scholarship Services

From your dashboard, click Service β†’ Scholarship Services. A list of available schemes appears.

2

Select your category and scheme

Filter by your category (SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC etc.). Select the specific scheme name (e.g., MYSY, Pre-Matric, Post-Matric SC). Select the current financial year.

3

Click Apply

Click the Apply button next to your chosen scheme. The application form for that scheme opens.

Step 5 β€” Fill the Application Form

The form has multiple sections. Complete each section carefully:

  • Personal Details: Pre-filled from your profile. Verify accuracy.
  • Academic Details: Current class/year, institution name, course, admissions details.
  • Bank Details: Pre-filled from profile. Must be Aadhaar-seeded.
  • Hostel Details: Fill if you are staying in a hostel (affects allowance calculation).
  • Family Income: Annual income from all sources. Must match your income certificate.

Step 6 β€” Upload Documents

Upload each required document in the designated field. Every file must be PDF or JPG and under 200 KB. Documents must be clear and legible β€” blurry uploads lead to rejections.

File too large? Use ilovepdf.com to compress PDFs or imagecompressor.com to compress photos. Target 100–180 KB per file.

Step 7 β€” Save as Draft and Review

1

Click Save as Draft

Always click Save as Draft before reviewing β€” this prevents data loss if the session times out. You can return and edit drafts anytime before submission.

2

Review everything carefully

Check: Name spelling, Aadhaar number, bank account number, income figures, and all document uploads. Errors after submission cannot be corrected easily.

Step 8 β€” Submit Application

1

Click Final Submit

Once satisfied, click Final Submit. The application is locked and sent to your school/college for verification.

2

Save your Application Reference Number

A unique Application Reference Number (ARN) is generated. Save it immediately β€” you need it for status tracking and grievances.

Common Errors & How to Fix Them

  • Name mismatch: Name on Aadhaar must match certificates exactly. Even small spelling differences cause rejection.
  • File too large: Compress before uploading. Max 200 KB per file.
  • Aadhaar not seeded with bank: Visit your bank branch to link Aadhaar before applying.
  • Wrong income figure: Enter family income exactly as stated on your income certificate from Mamlatdar.
  • Application rejected: Read the rejection reason in your dashboard. Most rejections are for fixable issues. Correct and reapply if the deadline hasn't passed.

Scholarship Renewal | Every Year

Scholarship is not automatically renewed. You must apply for renewal every academic year with updated documents. Minimum 50% marks in previous year required. See our complete Renewal Guide.
