MYSY Scholarship applications are submitted online at digitalgujarat.gov.in. The scheme is open to students from all categories across Gujarat.
What Is MYSY Scholarship?
MYSY stands for Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana. In plain language, it means the Chief Minister's Youth Self-Reliance Scheme. The Government of Gujarat runs this scholarship to keep bright students from low-income families in education.
Most Gujarat scholarships are category-specific only SC students qualify, or only ST students, or only OBC. MYSY is different. It is open to students from all categories, including General. The only two things that matter here are your marks and your family income.
The scheme covers the full tuition fee of your course, up to ₹2,00,000 per year. Money goes directly into your Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT. No college counter. No middleman. On top of that, you get a one-time equipment allowance of ₹10,000 to buy tools, books, or study materials for your course.

For D2D students, the minimum marks required in the diploma is 65% not 80%. This is the main difference from the standard MYSY route. All other conditions remain the same: income below ₹6 lakh, Gujarat domicile, full-time recognised programme, Aadhaar-linked bank account.
D2D students apply on the same Digital Gujarat portal and select MYSY scheme. When asked for marks basis, select "Diploma" and enter your diploma marks percentage. The scheme code may appear as "MYSY D2D" on the portal dropdown.
How to Apply for MYSY Scholarship Online
The entire application is online and free. It takes 20–30 minutes if you have all documents ready.
-
1
Check eligibility first
Confirm: 80%+ marks, income below ₹6 lakh, full-time Gujarat institution, Gujarat domicile. Also gather all documents before starting. Stopping midway and resuming later can cause form issues.
Check marks from your official Gujarat Board marksheet. Estimated figures are not accepted. -
2
Register on the Digital Gujarat portal
Visit digitalgujarat.gov.in. Click "New Registration (Citizen)." Enter your mobile number, email, and create a password. Verify via OTP. If you already have an account, log in directly.
-

Complete your profile
Log in and click "My Profile." Fill in your name, Aadhaar number, date of birth, address, and bank account details. Upload a passport-size photo (JPG, under 200 KB). Verify with OTP. Click "Update Profile."
Your name must match your Aadhaar exactly. Any mismatch at this stage causes payment failure later. -
4

From the dashboard, click "Services" then "Scholarship Services." In the scheme dropdown, find "Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY)". Select the current financial year 2026–27. Click "Change Financial Year."

5
Fill the MYSY application form
Enter your Class 10 or 12 marks percentage, current course name, institution name and code, enrollment number, semester/year, and annual tuition fee. Enter bank account and Aadhaar details exactly as on your documents. Use "Save as Draft" after each section.
-

-
7
Submit and print your application
Review every field. Tick the declaration checkbox. Click "Submit." Note down the application reference number screenshot it. Then print the application form and submit it with original documents to your college scholarship coordinator.

For bank account or NPCI seeding problems that block payment, visit your bank branch in person. Ask specifically for the "NPCI Aadhaar DBT Seeding form." Do not try to fix seeding issues over the phone or app, branch submission is more reliable.
For rejected applications, contact the District Social Welfare Office (for SC/OBC/General students) or the Tribal Development Office (for ST students) with your application reference number and original documents.
