What is the SC ITI / Professional Scholarship (BCK-13)?
The Scholarship/Stipend to SC Students for ITI/Professional Courses, also called the Swami Vivekanand Scholarship (BCK-13), is a monthly stipend scheme for Scheduled Caste (SC) students enrolled in ITI or professional courses in Gujarat. Managed by the District Deputy Director, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Government of Gujarat, it is one of the most sought-after scholarships among SC students pursuing vocational training.
The scheme focuses on students studying in State Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), subsidised (Government) Private ITIs, and grant-in-aid Industrial Training Centres (ITCs). Monthly stipend is paid directly via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) into the student's bank account.

Eligibility Criteria
- Category: Must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category in Gujarat

- Income (Rural): Annual family income must not exceed ₹47,000
- Income (Urban): Annual family income must not exceed ₹68,000
- Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Gujarat
- Not repeating: Should not be repeating the same year/semester

How to Apply | BCK-13 Scholarship
Register/Login at Digital Gujarat Portal
Go to digitalgujarat.gov.in. If new, click New Registration and create your account with mobile number and email.
Complete My Profile
Log in → click My Profile → fill all sections: personal address, caste category, family income, bank account details. Upload your profile photo. This step is mandatory before applying.
Go to Scholarship Services → SC Category → BCK-13
From your dashboard, click Service tab → Scholarship Services → select Scheduled Caste (SC) → select BCK-13 (Scholarship/Stipend to SC Students for ITI/Professional Courses).
Fill the application form
Enter: Aadhaar number, email ID, permanent and current address (hostellers: enter hostel as current address), ITI/course details, family income details.
Upload documents and submit
Upload all required documents in PDF/JPEG format (max 200 KB each). Review the form, agree to terms and conditions, and click Submit. Note the application reference number for tracking.
