7 Most Common Errors and How to Fix Them
β File size over 200 KB
Most common reason for upload failure. The portal silently fails to upload large files and the form appears incomplete.
β Fix: Compress before uploading
Use ilovepdf.com (for PDF) or compressjpeg.com (for JPG) to reduce file size below 200 KB before uploading.
β Name mismatch with Aadhaar
Entering "Ramesh K. Patel" when Aadhaar says "Rameshkumar Kantilal Patel" triggers rejection during verification.
β Fix: Copy exactly from Aadhaar
Open your Aadhaar card while filling the form. Enter the name character-for-character exactly as it appears on Aadhaar.
β Incorrect bank account details
Wrong account number or IFSC code means the scholarship payment will fail or go to the wrong account.
β Fix: Copy from passbook
Open your bank passbook first page. Enter the account number and IFSC exactly as printed. Double-check before submitting.
β Uploading blurry / cropped documents
If the verifier cannot read your certificate number, date, or your name on a document, it will be rejected.
β Fix: Check every file before uploading
Open each file on your phone/computer before uploading. All text must be fully visible. Retake the photo in good natural lighting if unclear.
β Expired income certificate
Income certificates older than 12 months may be rejected. Dates matter during verification.
β Fix: Get fresh certificates
Get your income certificate and domicile certificate issued within the current or previous financial year before applying.
β Wrong financial year selected
Selecting 2024β25 instead of 2025β26 means your application is for the wrong year and will not be processed.
β Fix: Always select 2025β26
After clicking Scholarship Services, double-check the financial year shown. Click "Change Financial Year" and confirm 2025β26 is selected.
β Incomplete form submitted
If any mandatory field is left blank or any required document is not uploaded, the application is flagged as "Incomplete" and may not be processed.
β Fix: Use Save as Draft first
Always click Save as Draft, scroll through the entire form, confirm all fields are filled and all documents are uploaded before clicking Submit.

- 3Your previous year's details will be pre-filled, verify and update where needed
- 4Upload updated documents: current year marksheet, new fee receipt, updated attendance certificate
- 5Submit before the renewal deadline (check digitalgujarat.gov.in for the exact date)
