β Page not loading / timeout
The portal gets extremely slow near application deadlines due to high traffic.
β Fix

β OTP not received
OTP may be delayed or your mobile inbox may be full. Some networks block OTPs from certain senders.
β Fix
Wait 2β3 minutes and try Resend OTP. Check spam/DND settings. Try on a different network. Check if the number is correct.
β Account locked after failed attempts
Too many wrong password attempts locks the account temporarily for security.
β Fix
Wait 30 minutes for the lockout to expire, then try again. Use Forgot Password to reset if you are unsure of the password.
β "Session expired" mid-application
The portal has a session timeout, if left idle for too long, it logs you out.
β Fix
Always click "Save as Draft" frequently while filling forms. Draft is saved even if session expires, log in again to continue.
What is a Freeship Card?
A Freeship Card is an official document issued by the competent government authority to eligible scholarship students. It serves as a guarantee to educational institutions that the student's fees will be paid by the government, allowing the student to get admission without paying anything upfront.
Think of it as a "pre-approved credit card" for your education fees, your college accepts it in place of actual fee payment, and the government settles the bill later through the scholarship disbursement.
