1. Birth Certificate Gujarat
A birth certificate (Janm Praman Patra) is issued under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969. Required for school admission, Aadhaar Card, passport, voter ID, and government schemes.

- 21โ30 days: โน100 late fee
- 30 days โ 1 year: โน200 + SDM permission
- After 1 year: โน500 + Executive Magistrate order
How to Apply for Birth Certificate Online

Visit eolakh.gujarat.gov.in
Go to eolakh.gujarat.gov.in. For births from 1 Sep 2025, use the national CRS Portal at dc.crsorgi.gov.in.

Select your city/village and register
Select your Municipal Corporation, Municipality, or Gram Panchayat. Click Register and fill in the child's birth details.

Upload documents and submit
Upload hospital discharge summary, parents' Aadhaar cards, and address proof. Submit and note your application number.

Download the certificate
Once issued (usually within 3โ7 days), download and print the digitally signed birth certificate.
2. Death Certificate Gujarat
Death must be registered within 21 days at the same authority as birth (Municipal Corporation / Gram Panchayat). Apply online at eolakh.gujarat.gov.in. Documents required: hospital death summary or medical certificate, Aadhaar of deceased, and identity proof of applicant.
3. Marriage Certificate Gujarat
Apply for marriage certificate via enagar.gujarat.gov.in. Minimum age: Bride 18, Groom 21. Processing time: 7โ15 working days. Registration is compulsory under the Gujarat Compulsory Registration of Marriage Act, 2006. Two Acts apply: Hindu Marriage Act 1955 (Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains) or Special Marriage Act 1954 (civil / inter-faith marriages).
